Luminaries Fairies is an AI-generated visual project exploring reimagined Disney fairy characters through anime, fairytale, and futuristic visual storytelling. The project reflects on how technology reshapes our perception of characters through the iterative power of AI.
Project Overview
The project started with the question: how would the iconic fairies of our childhood adapt to a digital frontier? Using AI tools, I experimented with diverse character looks and environments. I focused on blending traditional fairytale aesthetics with high-tech elements, highlighting the tension between human emotion and the sterile brilliance of the digital world.
What I did
I designed the full layout and character concepts, using Midjourney to iterate on visual styles. To add depth and motion, I integrated Spline for 3D components and WebGL for high-performance animations, ensuring a seamless blend of fairytale nostalgia and futuristic tech.
